Share a Childhood Memory in Campaign to Keep Children Safe
Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit is donating its PhotoDNA technology to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). PhotoDNA is a matching technology developed to assist in finding and removing many of the worst images of child pornography from the Internet.
As part of this effort, Microsoft has created the “A Childhood for Every Child” campaign. We are asking you to join us on Wednesday, Dec. 16th and Thursday, Dec. 17th by tweeting or blogging about one of your favorite memories from childhood. It can be as simple as running through the sprinklers on a hot summer day or that crazy road trip that you and the family took. Hashtag your tweets with #C4EC or post them below. We also invite you to use the campaign logo as your profile photo or e-mail signature. Together, we can send a message that we care about providing a childhood for every child.
